About us
McHale Muldoon is a well established law firm based in Dublin with vast experience in financial services litigation. We have set up a dedicated department to help clients with crypto related disputes.
The team we have assembled includes renown specialists in the fields of digital asset recovery, such as crypto fraud, who practice in England and Dubai, as well as Ireland, thereby ensuring that cross-border tracing is maximised. We also are specialists in the regulatory requirements which crypto exchanges are required to obey in Ireland and further afield, when establishing and operating DLT blockchains, as well as Central Bank Digital Currencies, DAOs and non-fungible tokens.
Recent reported successes include Jones v Persons Unknown and Huobi [2022] EWHC 2543 (Comm), which was the first reported summary judgment award, and Mooij v Persons Unknown [2024] EWHC 814 (Comm), which has clarified the law on obtaining judgment against persons unknown.
